Entry Level Trades Training Program

The ELTT course combines electrical theory and practical electrician training to prepare you for an apprenticeship in the electrical construction industry. It is the first step in an electrician's training.

Participants who successfully complete the course receive a certificate and credit for Level 1 technical training with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) related to the Construction Electrician (Electrical) apprenticeship program.

Topics include electrical theory and code, lockout procedures, forklift awareness training, fall arrest training, WHMIS, TDG, Confined Space procedures, Hilti shot certification and rigging.

IBEW Local 213 Electrical Contractors request graduates from the Electrical ELTT program most often.

As a graduate of our Electrical ELTT course, you are given preferred access to IBEW L.213 apprenticeships, based on work availability.
